A Lifetime of Training
Shelly has always enjoyed activities that keep her moving. After several years of dance as a child, she discovered a passion for martial arts and began practicing Shotokan Karate. After decades of training in this discipline she says it, "Taught me everything I needed to know about heart, respect, and diligence." Those lessons would become the foundation she built her business on.
Fourteen years ago she answered her calling and opened doors to Kadilak Fitness. She was inspired by how exercise made her stronger and more resilient both mentally and physically. The goal was simple, teach as many people as possible how physical fitness can help them live a healthier and happier life. While many things have changed over the years the goal remains the same.
Shelly is a certified personal trainer, Zumba instructor, Spin instructor, and is in the process of completing her 200 hour Yoga Certification. Her approach has four main tenants
- Proper nutrition
- A balance of cardio, strength & stretching
